Our website continues to be funded through private donations and does not come from contributions made for the roadside historical markers, the memorial in Burlington, Kentucky or from donations for memorial enhancements. Your contributions for the site will be greatly appreciated.

Currently the 383/128 Flight Memorial Grove in Burlington, Kentucky is under restoration. The "Story Book" plagues that were originally installed at the site involved annual maintenance and as a result are going to be replaced by late spring 2025.

Disclaimer: In 2020, the Flight 383/128 Memorial Group, Inc. filed for voluntary dissolution with the Ohio Secretary of State and for a certificate of withdrawal as a foreign entity in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as our project's primary mission has been accomplished. Personals

Robert Hart {1925-2021}, TWA Flight 128 Survivor, friend and supporter of the 383/128 Memorial Group, passed away on May 18, 2021. Bob served as a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corp. during WWII and earned his wings as a navigator and bombardier. After the war ended, he earned an accounting degree from Marshall College. He worked as an IRS agent and as the Business Manager for the Ashland Public Schools. He was a past member of Lions Club, Jaycees, and served on the guidance board for the construction of Paul G. Blazer HS. He was a devoted member of Ashland United Methodist Church and in recent years enjoyed sharing stories at the Ashland Senior Center.

The Flight 694/383/694 Group, Inc. would like to extend our condolences to the family of Toni F. Ketchell-Murphy who passed on December 13, 2017. Toni was a surviving stewrdess on American Airlines Flight 383 which crashed on the evening of November 8, 1965 in Cincinnati. She will be missed by family, friends and the Flight 694/383/128 Memorial Group community.



The Flight 694/383/694 Group, Inc. would like to extend our condolences to the family of Elinor K. Kurtock-Shadley who passed on August 3, 2017. Ellie was a surviving hostess on TWA Flight 128 which crashed on the evening of November 20, 1967 in Cincinnati. She will be missed by family, friends and the Flight 694/383/128 Memorial Group community.

Paula Wolf {1935-2014}, TWA Flight 128 survivor, friend and supporter of the Flight 383/128 Memorial Group, passed away on April 19, 2014. Her husband, Dr. Frederick Wolf was lost in the crash of TWA Flight 128 in November 1967. Her son, Scott Wolf, was active in the memorial project.
